Gameforge was founded in 2003 by Klaas Kersting and Alexander Roesner. The company now has over 40 million registered users and continues to grow. While Gameforge publishes a variety of games, they are best known for their smash hit browser games like OGame, BiteFight, and Ikariam. Players can access all GameForge games through their MMOGame.com portal.
On August 4, 2010 GameForge acquired Frogster Interactive, the Berlin based MMORPG developer, for $85 Million.
