Beanfun is an MMO / MMORPG portal owned by the larger Taiwanese gaming company Gamania. Gamania both publishes and develops games in North America, South Korea, Japan, China and Europe. The company’s name means “Gaming Tangerine” in Taiwanese. The company’s full name is Gamania Digital Entertainment. The company has over 10 million registered users world-wide and was the first Taiwanese online gaming company to expand world-wide.
The company developed Bright Shadow and Lucent Hears on their own. They publish Lineage, MapleStory, Counter Strike Online and Kart Rider in Asia.
