Tripod: The Romance of Three Kingdoms is a browser based MMORTS set in ancient China. After joining one of the three historical factions, you’re given a city to develop. In addition to developing the city, you must build an army, train and equip various generals, and conquer new territory. The game also offers an arena where players can wager on fights, or enter their own general; the arena is open three times a day.
