Legends of Qin

Legends of Qin, LoQ for short, is a 3D Fantasy MMORPG. The game was without a doubt inspired by WoW, as the game’s graphics and gameplay look remarkably similar to the popular Blizzard title. The game is set in a vast game world that mixes rich Chinese history with ancient Chinese mythology – with a common ‘good versus evil’ theme thrown into the mix.

Legends of Qin Overview

Legends of Qin is a 3D Fantasy MMORPG that both looks and plays a lot like Blizzard’s World of Warcraft. Even though Legends of Qin is a bit late to the ‘copy World of Warcraft’ party (Think Runes of Magic and Gates of Andaron) – it’s still a fun game worth checking out. Players can expect the usual array of MMORPG features from instances to crafting. Those looking for an alternative to to World of Warcraft and have already played Runes of Magic should certainly check out Legends of Qin. The game’s four playable classes are:

Warrior – Warriors, like in most other MMORPGs, are the primary all around balanced close range combatant. They have large amounts of hit points and armor as well as formidable offensive capabilities. They don’t deal as much damage as rogues and mages, but they are the only class in the game capable of ‘tanking’ difficult enemies.

Rogue – Rogues are a lot like warriors but with a strong emphasis on damage rather than defense. Rogues rely on their agility to dodge their opponents and deal large amounts of damage quickly. Unlike the warrior though, they can’t stand toe-to-toe against hard hitting foes.

Mage – Mages are the traditional offensive spell casting class in Legends of Qin. They are extremely effective at damaging their targets from a distance but are vulnerable in close quarters combat. They have the least armor and hit points in the game but are destructive at a distance.

Shaman -Shamans, like mages, have access to a wide arsenal of spells – most of which are supportive. They are an excellent supportive class as they can cast healing and buff spells on their party and themselves. Unlike the mage though – they can hold their own in melee combat fairly well.
