Codemasters has revealed the level of customization a player can perform on their race car in F1 Online: The Game, as well as the upgrades they can obtain.  Players are invited to sign up for the beta test on the website.

Featuring top down racing gameplay and management, players can race on a variety of tracks.   Simple controls on the track, and a wide selection of cars and crew allow a high level of customization.  Players can decide on a team name, create an emblem, choose a livery for the car, and pick the color and design for the driver’s helmet.  A wide range of achievements can also be displayed on the car.

Players also are responsible for researching and producing the car’s components, such as gearbox, brakes, engine, and more, to optimize performance.  The multiplayer races include Grand Prix events as well as quick challenges and time trials.
