Gladius 2 Overview

Gladius 2, also known as Gladiators 2 is a real time browser based MMO where players take on the roll of a gladiator fighting in the arenas of ancient Rome. Like other BigPoint games, Gladius 2 is predominetly a player vs player (PvP) game but there are several single player missions available to help new players earn some cash and experience. While there is a graphic client, many aspects of the game are done on the website such as purchasing weapons & armor, using the auction house, and viewing your stats. There are three gladiator types to chose from during character creation but the other two can be purchased and trained as well. Gladius 2  doesn’t have much variation, it falls on the players to create their own excitement in battle. The three gladiator types available are:

Priscus - A brutal warrior who relies on his acute strength to overwhelm opponents. Special weapons include: War Lance and Half-Moon Axe.

Magnus - A well balanced fighter who understands the need for defense. Special weapons include: Longsword and Warhammer.

Versus - An agile gladiator whose speed keeps him ahead of his opponents. Special weapons include: Death Claw and Bastard Club.
